Out from the "pink-n-purple" sock...

So my leg is finally free...

Not as free as I expected but...The pin/screw is still in there...Which means I still can't walk...The docs wanted me to put partial weight on this leg to exercise the muscles...I still have to use the darn crutches...The next check-up will be in 4 weeks time for another XRay before they make a decision to pull out the pin...

After 6 weeks in a cast, my skin was so dry and so itchy...Been scratching all nite long and my bed is full of skin flakes...*gross*...The scar is healing quite well and new skin underneath starting to emerge...The foot is a bit bruised and swollen but overall, everything looks good...

Now I have to go to my final exam in crutches...Am so not looking forward to call the cab at 6.30 a.m coz my exams starts at 8.30 a.m...Will try to post up new pics of post-cast a.s.a.p...
